At Appointees Gloucestershire, we will:

 

  1. Claim all relevant benefits on your behalf.
  2. Report to the Department of Work and Pensions as required.
  3. Open a client account in your name with Lloyds Bank for your benefits to be paid into and for your bills to be paid from.
  4. Manage the client contribution payable to the County Council.
  5. Visit you and provide you with a statement and details of how much money you have received and what has been spent.
  6. Visit you to prepare your future spending plan.
  7. Assist you to order a Motability vehicle if you are eligible for one and having one is in your best interest.
  8. Work with your support team to make sure that you have access to money. This could be through systems at your home, through another bank account or through a prepaid card.
  9. Ensure that appropriate funds are transferred from your Lloyds bank account to your day to day spending account.
  10. Work with your support team to make sure that appropriate records are kept for your day to day spending.
  11. Audit your day to day spending records.
  12. Make sure that best interest processes are followed for all larger purchases.
  13. Work with you and your support team so that the money you have can be spent on items or activities that will enhance your life.

 

 

Our Prices

£20.50 per week

In Gloucestershire, anyone paying a client contribution to Gloucestershire County Council can have this weekly appointee charge treated as a disability related expense. This means that the individual does not bear this appointee service cost. 
Other County Councils may have different allowances for disability related expenses.
